CM inaugurates second Odisha Travel Bazaar

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday inaugurated the second edition of Odisha Travel Bazaar at Hotel Mayfair Convention here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “The tourist arrival to the state is growing at a rate of about 9 percent per annum which is more than the global tourist arrival growth rate of 4 percent. This increasing trend of tourist arrival is a positive sign for the state.”
The three-day event will witness participation of 60 foreign tour operators from 23 countries like Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Netherlands, UK and USA.
Apart from that, as many as 16 leading domestic tour operators from Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Varanasi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Raipur, Rajkot and Visakhapatnam will congregate to interact and will engage themselves with 56 sellers comprising of travel agencies and hoteliers from Odisha to showcase and sell Odisha travel product internationally and within the country.
