Haryana on mission to be trade and investment haven: Dushyant Chautala

News Tube , Nov 18, 2020

Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala, which also owns a portfolio of industries, said Wednesday that “Haryana’s mission is to be a trade and investment haven for industry.”

Dushyant was addressing the inaugural session of the FICCI Global Young Leaders Summit on Youth Icons: Inspiring New Generations.

“Haryana offers great strategic advantage, airports, land resources, talent and opportunities to invest in the Millennium City. India, as a country, is looking at young leaders around the world, who are working to revive the global economy after the COVID era. The world has changed in the past nine months, which has made us move in every vertical through digitization, including industries. India has taken big steps and the Prime Minister’s call for Atmanirbhar Bharat is boosting the economy,” Dushyant said.

“The Center-approved Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, which runs along the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, will be Delhi’s much-needed rail bypass, which will allow multiple-direction train travel from the Millennium City. Several large foreign companies have expressed a desire to invest in Haryana. In a constructive development, Japanese multinational electronics company, ATL-owned TDK Corporation, which manufactures rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries, has acquired 180 acres of industrial land in Haryana, which is a huge boost to economic development in India,” Dushyant said, giving details of the investments entering Haryana.

“Haryana’s new industrial policy will focus on job creation, provide more means for large industries and MSMEs to stimulate investment in the state and industrial development in general. We are offering seed money to new businesses and will provide financing to 100 entrepreneurs to start their industry. India has a huge advantage in terms of a skilled and young workforce, 55% of our population is under 40 and if we can use it we can take over the world through collaborations with countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to boost the young generation in the world through technology,” Dushyant said.
